These images were made with the Canon EOS 10D, and are my first fireworks pix with the 10D. I used the bulb-setting, and a remote to control the exposure. The evening was a bit windy, and with the longer exposure time (1-2 seconds), there was often too much streaking of the images. Some made for good effects, others turned out not-so-good.
It ended up raining on our parade, but it was close to the end. Strong rain and winds blew over our gazebo, and broke the metal supports. All our stuff got wet, including us. We managed to make do, however, with the frequent showers popping up thereafter, we didn’t last long.
Working with a New York based company has it’s travel perks! Off to the Big Apple on business, there is always time for a little bit of city touring. Pictures here cover my visits in August and December of 2003, and February of 2004.
August and December pictures were taken with the Sony Mavica CD-1000. The later ones with my newest Camera, the Canon EOS 10D!
This is my second set of pictures with my new Canon EOS 10D. Cavern pictures are probably not the best theme for getting familiar with a new camera. 😉 Here are the best shots from this trip.
You’ll need to be in one of my circles on Google+ to be able to view. So, if you’re not there yet, head to Google+ to join. Then you can look me up at http://davidandkevin.com/david+ to be added to one of my circles.
