It may not be the perfect solution, having to use a disc in the PS3 to get Netflix streaming, but I’m looking forward to having my PS3 get closer and closer to becoming the center of my media center!
Yesterday evening was a great time for Scarecrow in the Gardens and Fest-of-Ale at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Turn out was great–unfortunately, they ran out of beer early in the evening. But, I managed to shoot some interesting scarecrows.
We received a letter today from the Atlanta Humane Society notifying us that Truffles has won “a coveted spot in the Atlanta Humane Society’s 2010 ‘All Pets Allowed’ Calendar!” We are so excited! There’s even a calendar premier party! This is just too awesome!
Check out AHS’ website to order your pet calendar. Don’t forget to submit your pet’s pic next year!

Weekend before last, we drove to Oakhurst Village to partake in Dogtober Fest. There was a dog costume contest, which we unfortunately were too late for. After meeting doggies and visting vendors, we had some grub and brew at Universal Joint.
Yes, Truffles is wearing last year’s costume…we just didn’t get around to getting her a new one. 😛
We went to Taste of Atlanta on Saturday. It was a great day, interrupted with only some minor rain drops. We had a blast!
We made it through all of the VIP wine tasting tables and ended up ordering a case of wine, too. Yes, we splurged on the VIP tickets, but I think it was worth it. We certainly didn’t get to sample all of the food there…that would have been too much.
At the VIP event, we also helped paint the Blue Moon billboard. Take a look at our artistic efforts!
