Luckily, I did not wet the bed

We started this exercise routine. Along with that, comes the “drink lots of water” directive. I finished two, 5-cup filtered pitchers of water at work on Monday. Monday night/Tuesday morning I wake up around 3:30AM after dreaming I’ve been peeing all over the place. A really strange dream. I did have to go pee. I checked the bed when I came back from the bathroom, just to make sure that I didn’t have to blame anything on Truffles. 🙂

There’s a 14-day jump start diet plan that comes with this exercise routine. Lots of greens. Cucumbers—I think my skin is starting to turn green, and it’s only day 3. We spent about $200 for two people for the first week of food. Meals consist of three “full meals” of about 300 calories each, along with two to three snacks, each 100 to 150 calories. I must say, 4.5 ounces of steak for dinner sure looks tiny. Prepping the next day’s meals is a pain, easily taking 90 minutes. There’s hardly anytime to watch TV anymore. And, we are going through a lot of Ziploc bags.

The workout routines are tough for someone like me: uncoordinated, no balance, overweight, weakling, and not having done anything more strenuous than picking up a TV remote. Each day brings a different exercise routine on a separate DVD, so there is a ton of variety. I think there are seven different DVDs.

I’ve lost four pounds since Monday morning. Let’s see how much further this goes.
