Coqui

I came across some nifty instructions for a real cheap light tent, one that can be made at the office out of regular scrap copier paper. So, I promptly put one together and took a photo with the droid of one of the trinkets I have scattered around my cube, the Coqui I received from a friend. Notice the seamless background!

Using the droid and PicSay Pro, I adjusted the exposure, added the word balloon, and voila! Check out the instructions for this light tent at http://tinyurl.com/yjob2gg.

Luckily, I did not wet the bed

We started this exercise routine. Along with that, comes the “drink lots of water” directive. I finished two, 5-cup filtered pitchers of water at work on Monday. Monday night/Tuesday morning I wake up around 3:30AM after dreaming I’ve been peeing all over the place. A really strange dream. I did have to go pee. I checked the bed when I came back from the bathroom, just to make sure that I didn’t have to blame anything on Truffles. 🙂

Crappy Comcast Cable/DVR Service Strikes Again

A few weekends ago, SyFy Channel was replaying it’s Tin Man mini-series, based on the Wizard of Oz. This was a total of three, two-hour episodes. I was doing some other work at the time with this playing in the background. I didn’t realize that it was six hours, until the third episode started. With a little over an hour left, I ended up recording the last portion of the episode on the Comcast DVR so that I could do something else.

Where ya been?

Shame on me for no recent updates.

It’s been a busy few months! Maw-Maw’s passing, Halloween (encompassing both a doggie and a people costume party), Pride, a Trip to Biloxi for some gambling, new phones (Droids!), Thanksgiving (including a trip to St. Augustine for the weekend), a holiday party for doggies (and the peeps that accompany them), the Reindog Parade at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, our own Holiday Par-Tay last weekend, Christmas lurking around the corner for next week, my birthday (no age disclosure), a friend’s birthday party the day after, New Years (with plans for a movie night that night, or movie day the next day with brunch)….and the list goes on.

As a result, things here have been lagging behind a bit. I’d like to make small updates more frequently. Sounds like a New Year’s resolution. But, maybe I can start early. With this update. What’cha think?

Droids have landed!

We got our droids from Verizon on Friday. So far, we are still experimenting with different applications and widgets to get things done they way we like. These are very cool..but may be a bit too much for ppl not experienced in the ways of ‘puters. For me, it’s a playground, and Kev is actually having fun with his droid, too.
